Hal Quigley

Founding Partner

Hal Quigley is a founding partner of Quigley & Miron. He specializes in tax matters, including tax planning and tax return preparation for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates and trusts. During his 20-plus years in the accounting profession, he has served as an advisor to a variety of businesses and to attorneys on numerous litigation matters.

Before establishing his own firm, Hal was associated with the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young (E&Y), where he worked with clients in banking, financial services, and manufacturing. Following his career at E&Y, he was employed by First Interstate Bank as the bank’s audit manager of international operations, subsidiaries, and data processing functions.

Active in Santa Monica community affairs, Hal has served as chair of the Santa Monica Chapter of the American Red Cross, president of the Rotary Club of Santa Monica and treasurer of the Santa Monica Chapter of the National Conference of Community and Justice. Hal currently serves as Assistant Governor of Rotary District 5280 and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Santa Monica Family YMCA. Professionally, he is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Hal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University in 1970.
