John Miron manages Quigley & Miron’s audit practice and specializes in providing audit, tax, and consulting services to nonprofit organizations.

John joined Quigley & Miron in 1989 after a 15-year association with the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young. John has served as the audit partner for many financial services firms, including large and small commercial banks, mortgage companies, broker/dealers, venture capital companies and trust companies. In addition, his experiences have included performing internal control reviews of business accounting systems, financial and valuation reviews of companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, and documentation and evaluation of financial transactions in cases of fraud and embezzlement. He has also written operating control manuals for foreign exchange, interest rate swap, and equipment leasing operations. John has also served in varying capacities at numerous manufacturing entities including Anthony Industries, Inc., manufacturer of swimming pools and related equipment, and Audio Magnetics, Inc., at one time the largest manufacturer of audio tape in the world.

John is a former director of the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Center for Nonprofit Management. Over the years, he has served as treasurer of Pacific Hills School, Los Angeles Mozart Orchestra, and the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra, among others. John was the president of the Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles in the 2003-2004 year when it was recognized as District 5280’s large club “Club of Excellence”. He currently serves as the treasurer of the Wilshire Sports Association, and is President of the Wilshire Rotary Foundation. John is a member of the Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles, a member of the Jonathan Club, and a life member of the Accounting Circle of the University of Southern California. Professionally, John is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Southern California in 1974.
